Cycling in Vatican City

Vatican City does not have an organized cycling structure, competitive federation, or dedicated cycling infrastructure within its territory. Given its extremely small size and urban layout, the city-state does not operate road races, cycling clubs, or commuter cycling networks. Residents and workers who cycle would do so within the broader city of Rome rather than inside Vatican boundaries. There are no known national competitions, development programs, or formal cycling facilities located within Vatican City itself. Any athletic participation connected to Vatican residents would fall under Italian sporting systems. As a sovereign microstate primarily centered on religious and administrative functions, Vatican City does not maintain an independent cycling presence.
