Horse racing in Lithuania exists on a modest but organized scale, with activity centered around select racecourses and equestrian facilities. The sport includes both flat racing and harness racing traditions, though it does not operate at the commercial level seen in larger European markets. Participation is supported by breeding operations and riding schools in rural areas. Events often combine competitive racing with broader equestrian programming. Infrastructure modernization and consistent scheduling influence the sport’s development trajectory.
