Horse racing in Lagos maintains a visible presence through established racing clubs and organized meets. The Lagos Polo Club grounds and associated equestrian facilities support periodic race events and related competitions. While the sport operates on a smaller commercial scale compared to major global racing markets, it attracts dedicated participants and spectators. Ownership and breeding activities are concentrated among specific networks within the state. Future growth is tied to facility modernization and broader sponsorship engagement.
