Horse Racingin Vatican City

Horse racing is not practiced within Vatican City. The state has no racecourses, breeding programs, or equestrian competition infrastructure. Given its limited land area and administrative function as the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church, sporting activity is minimal and largely ceremonial. Individuals connected to Vatican City who engage with horse racing do so through Italian institutions and facilities in Rome or elsewhere. The sport has no domestic regulatory or competitive presence within the city-state.
